Microsoft buys Skype for Business management technology from Event Zero
Microsoft executive announced the acquisition of Event Zeros assets on January 13, disclosing it as another example of the companys "ambition to reinvent productivity and business processes." |Microsoft says the expansion step will help the company improve Skype business Functionality.

"Our goal is to make the Skype for Business management tools as powerful and easy-to-use for IT professionals as Skype is for end users," said Corporate Vice President of Skype for Business Engineering Zig Serafin, in a blog post.

"In the future, using the technology acquired today, we will be able to add strong diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities with even more extensive reporting and analytics for online audio, video conferencing and media streams -- all within a unified management and admin system," Serafin added.

Event Zero CEO David Tucker disclose that the acquisition may benefit Skype for Business users more than Event Zero could utilize. The Australian company will continue to provide its award-winning services to its customers and partners. Mr Tucker have sold his company assets more than a few times. Back in 2000, Village Roadshow acquired iMovie. A part of his venture, the security software firm XtreamLok, was acquired by Symentec in 2005.
