How to solve the conection is untrusted browser error

Each time I tried using one of my old desktop PC, i received an error message that says "connection is untrusted" on all browsers installed on the PC, i tried to find out what the problem was, I thought it was due to the fact that my system  certificates were out of date.

However, I was able to come up with a simple tweak, i realized that the simply setting the date and time of the PC to the actual time solves the problem. Im still trying to come up with a reason for this, anybody knows why my system couldnt old his current date settings anymore? and is this "connection is untrusted" problem by any means related to non-updated firmwares on my PC?
