1. 9GAG

9GAG is an image hosting website and Android app that is home to thousands of photos and memes. But its also so much more than that. Its a community, often a very shrewd one, that curates the most laugh-out-loud images and videos on the internet, into different categories, such as Funny, WTF, GIF and MEME.
It’s a highly rated app because it is stable and efficient. Check it out.

2. Imgur

Like 9GAG, Imgur has an app and website concerned with images and GIFS, but, dare I say, it has a little more depth than the former. Naturally there are plenty of funny GIFS and images, which are updated constantly, but there are also many amazing ideas and stories to share.
The app interface itself is easy and intuitive; you can spend hours just swiping through page after page. Just make sure you remember to close the app at some point.

3. HeadsUp

Even if you dont know what HeadsUp is, the idea will be instantly recognizable. HeadsUp is a party game in which you hold your phone against your forehead while it displays a place, an animal, a movie, a celebrity or similar. Your friends will frantically shout out clues to help you guess it.
If you guess it correctly, you swipe your head down, if you pass, swipe up. Get ready to here lots of "she was in that thing with the guy from that show" and other such helpful comments.

4. Vine

Vine has made me and my friends crack up more times than I can count. Like GIFS, Vines are short, repeating videos that can be uploaded and shared on a platform not a million miles away from Twitter.
These short videos are endlessly replayable (literally) and you can follow favorite accounts and channels so that youre always fed the Vines youre interested in. For nonstop quickfire laughs, go to Vine.

5. Buzzfeed

Buzzfeed is a media website that covers a wide range of topics and popular cultural happenings but their articles are often hysterical. You will know the type of content by now no doubt: big irresistible lists of things such as "13 potatoes that look like Channing Tatum". Best of all, there is a dedicated LOL section, too.

Many Nigerians regret ever using the Blackberry models due to the fact that they go everywhere with their Blakberry phones charger so as not to go ffline. Pending the time smartphone batteries will start receiving some attention, here are a few great tips to help you conserve your battery uptime and lifetime.

10 smart tips to make your smartphones battery last longer

1. Avoid performing a hard reset on your phone. Have been told a few times to rmove my smartphones battery while its still on by my network provider.

2. There are areas of low network coverage and if you happen to find yourself in such areas youd conserve your phones battery by turning it off or activating the "airplane mode".More batteries are consumed when your device radio-activity finds it hard to get quality neywork receptivity. Ensure you have quality network signal, you can do these with a cell phone repeater app.

3. Always keep your battery up and charged. Lithium-ion batteries are better charged often before they run dry. Its better to switch off your smartphone and get alternative means of charging once its lower than 25%.

4. Avoid putting your phone on vibration.Vibration in Phones triggers a mechanical force thats runs down battery easily. Mobile devices are meant to be closed to their owners as possible, so try keep your phones volume as low as you can hear.

5. Reduce the brightness, put backlight in quicker sleep mode. smartphones screen due to their high resolution are the biggest battery zappers, you can tweak the settings that your phones backlight only stays on for like 15 seconds or less.

6. Power off Bluetooth. Bluetooth is a radio-active device, it can easily run down your battery due to the fact it trys to find and maintain its signal for good performance. Only use bluetooth when the need be, you can use cable headsets instead of bluetooth.

7. Turn off 3G conections when youre not surfing the web. GSM To make phone calls and do any other activity on your phone you need the GSM network receptivity, when in areas of low network coverage or when not browsing turn off 3G.

8. Dont Use animations on your phone. Transition animations and in the wallpaper should be avoided as much as possible.

9. Get a portable solar or battery powered travel charger for your device, this will keep you up especially when youre in remote places.

When questioned how the world will end — "naturally" or whether man would put an end to it — Hawking explained that, most of the threats the human race is facing emanates from progress made in science and technology.
He itemized but a few, like nuclear war, catastrophic global warming and genetically engineered viruses.

A new Chrome extension may make facebook loss millions of Advertisement earnings

Many people believed Facebook is going overboard by trying to spy its millions of users and extract as Much information it can lay its hands upon for marketing purpose.

They dig deep into what is flying around on the social media between friends, groups and individuals, this off set Juraj Ivan who in about 24 hours developed a chrome and safari extension that will kill all of Facebook strategy to advertise or cunningly compel its users to perform a task.

The chrome app works like an ad-blocker, the apps named "your Facebook friend feeds" once you start using the app all feed from Facebook can be blocked off except for ones you intentionally permit. You only see information directed to you from friends alone and not some obtrusive messages like "your friend just like..."

Myself, Ive sometimes perceived social media as time zappers, simply because Facebook will try every effort to keep you on the website for as long as possible. They know more time you spent on the website is more means to market their services to you.

The Slovakian Developer explains that it took him just 24 hours to develop the tool.

Yesterday  developed this simple chrome extension, that hide all stories that are not directly from your friends or pages you follow. As a result of it, i already stopped visiting Facebook so often, its enough to visit once, twice s day and i dont miss anything important from ny friends".

He further explained what instigate him to develop the tool:

"I realized that i visit Facebook too often because there is always something new, but mostly its stories from people snd pages I dont follow. But these stories appear on my news feed because my friends like them. Having my newsfeed cluttered like that i often miss stories from friends themselves".

We really cant say if this tool has come to stay, because i think the team at Facebook should be unto it by now.

Google to roll out Algorithmic update to make Chrome browser faster
Google Announced that it will roll out an Algorithm update to make its chrome browser faster than ever.

The change will constitute a data compressing filter called BROTLI, which was first disclosed by Google in September 2015. The Algorithm update will help chrome browsers compress the sizes of Websites to up to 26 per cent better than what we see in the previous Chrome compression tool- Zopfli.

The Algorithm change is named after a Swiss German baked food, Brotli- to mean "small bread".

Google Engineer Illya Grigorik in a post on Google+ , announced that Brotli will be integrated into Chrome soon, may be in the browsers next update.

"At Google, we think that internet users time is valuable, and that they shouldnt have to wait long for a webpage to load," Google (GOOG) said in a September blog post, when it first announced Brotli. "Because fast is better than slow."
The code is available as open-source codes for interested web developers and browsers to use, Mozilla for instance already showed interest in the Algorithm code to enhance its browser as well.
